Process Server Huddersfield
So what is a Process Server Huddersfield?
Process Servers can distribute official documentation (serve) to someone or defendant involved in a lawsuit.
When someone doesn’t pay child support, goes into personal bankruptcy by failing to pay bills, breaks their rental agreement illegally, or is otherwise needed to go to court, they have to be delivered with an ‘Order’ telling them of impending charges along with the date of proceedings. Informing the individual will be the obligation of the person (or organization) filing the notice. Even in this technological age, a phone call or e mail are not sufficient; the law states that the defendant absolutely must be notified in person of the upcoming action against them. However because of the legal requirements with regard to serving such a notice, not just anyone can supply them. That’s where the process server will come in.
If a Process Server cannot deliver the notice directly to the defendant, they can also effect service through ‘Substituted Service’. Meaning, they will alternatively deliver the process by means of insertion in the letterbox or in another way that it’s able to come to the attention of anybody entering the property, ie, stick to the front door.
